Urban Pumpkin Patch
The Y.M.C.A. (Young Men's Christian Association originally) puts this pumpkin patch in the middle of a shopping center parking lot. The use the sale as one of their fundraising activities.

That is a lot of pumpkins and how many end up as pie depends on who buys them and what for. I guess. It does seem like more and more places have more and more pumpkins for sale. I just can't imagine so many of them being used for food.

I am 74 years old -- today is my birthday.
What a lovely lineup. We always had one or two on our front porch all during autumn along with some corn stalks and decorative gourds.
