Poinsettia plants (named after Poinsett) grow in the ground here in Southern California. This tree, however, is man-made and is in one of our local malls.

Lovely photo, so well composed, Sarah. My photo of the 'tree' turned out very dull.
We only get the table sized ones but this is fabulous.
