These sculptures are on the campus of my alma mater, California State University, Long Beach.
I've been driving past them for weeks now. Yesterday was a day of protest held by university students and faculty as well as public school teachers, parents, and students. People are concerned about the financial cuts that have been made to these public institutions.

I like these 'minimalist' sculptures. I hope the protesters will win and the colleges will get more funding.
