This view of the main channel of the Port of Los Angeles was taken at the Ports O' Call Restaurant. The Vincent Thomas Bridge is illuminated at night with the blue lights.

Part of the road along Paseo Del Mar has slid into the ocean. I ran along there shortly before they closed the road because of land movement. Now you can't run along there because of the huge hole.

Winter Sunset

During the late fall and early winter, the sun sets over the island of Santa Barbara. We get great views of it, even though it's a long way from our house.
