Today's sunset from my bedroom window

Winter Sunset

During the late fall and early winter, the sun sets over the island of Santa Barbara. We get great views of it, even though it's a long way from our house.

I can see the Channel Island National Park, especially the Island of Santa Barbara, mainly in the winter. It's quite far away from my patio here i Rancho Palos Verdes-- I think more than sixty-two miles. I love the way it looks at sunset.

The many storms of this winter have brought wonderful clouds and sunsets. I was home in time to see this scene from my bedroom window.
