This statue of Charlie Chaplin was inside the Bradbury Building. It's on loan from the El Dorado Hotel-- a place where Charlie lived.

Here are two views of the elevators in the Bradbury Building. The interior view on the left is of the north elevator. The right photo shows the south elevator as it descends. Tourists aren't allowed to ride in the elevators-- one occupants of the offices and their visitors.

This historic building has been featured in a number of movies including "Blade Runner," which I've never seen. I love the interior of it. It's on Broadway in downtown Los Angeles. I'm going to post a series of photos from there this week.

Cheerful California House

I passed this house after a trip to the recycling center.  It was so cheery that I had to turn around to take the photograph.  I love the colors that the owners used.

I like the lines of this house that looks out over the ocean.
