Welcome

There are many exotic and beautiful cities in the world. Some have ancient ruins and historic sites. Rancho Palos Verdes, California is lovely in a different way. On clear days we can see the water on the other side of Catalina's isthmus. We can also see some of the other Channel Islands that are part of the Channel Islands National Park. Please visit this blog regularly to see the ordinary, the exotic, the beautiful, and the historic.

Sarah A: Rancho Palos Verdes, California, United States; I'm a 66-year old woman who loves the out-of-doors, reading, hiking, photography, and spending time with my family. I'm married with four adult children who are each married and two grandchildren. I am a Seventh-day Adventist Christian and attend church every week. I enjoy traveling, but spend most of my time teaching high school mathematics here in California. I've completed three half-marathons in the past year including one where I ran across the Golden Gate Bridge.
