Wildflowers on the Second Day of Spring

We took a hike in the local San Gabriel Mountains in Altadena and found a lot of spring wildflowers.  I wish I knew the name of this one.

Evening Hikers

There are sixty to eighty individuals who hike each Thursday night from the corner of Silver Spur and Hawthorne Blvd.  The trails that surround this urban area go into canyons, on to bluff tops, or uphill.  All of the trails take us to places where city life is easily forgotten.

This crew was making a television commercial for teens on a high school campus.

Heavy Surf

The storm that brought a bit of rain early Sunday morning also brought heavy surf and some high waves.
