The west support of the Vincent Thomas bridge has been under wraps. See my post of November 20. This week they removed the protective covering and are in the process of removing all of the steel scaffolding.

From here and with your great silhouette shot, the scaffolding actually looks like a part of the bridge — and an interesting pattern it makes too!
