Medals from Races

Here are the things I got from finishing the San Francisco Half-Marathon. The SF was the third and culminating race from the three-race California Dreamin' Series: Long Beach Half-Marathon (in October, 2009), Surf City (Huntington Beach in Feb., 2010) and the San Francisco last Sunday.

Our family enjoyed an afternoon of sailing in Long Beach today. Our daughter who lives in New York recently took sailing lessons on the New York River.
We rented a boat so that she could practice some more.

Free Shakespeare

Each summer a professional company, Shakespeare by the Sea, puts on free productions at various parks in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Their "home" is Point Fermin Park in San Pedro. It's the only place where they have a permanent stage. These pictures are from their performance of Twelfth Night last week.
