The City of Rancho Palos Verdes is putting in a storm drain on Palos Verdes Drive South. Apparently, these trees were removed and the wood is free for the taking. You'd need a large truck and/or ax, though.

This wood wouldn't last half an hour on Gabriola! Everyone heats with wood and almost everyone has a chainsaw.
